The Toronto Traditional Mass Society is a Chapter of the International Una Voce Federation and has the same aims as this world-wide organization of lay people within the Roman Catholic Church.

The Toronto Traditional Mass Society

The Toronto Traditional Mass Society, founded June 2004, is a lay association made up of faithful Catholics who share a genuine goal and a common purpose.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

1.    To obtain from the Archdiocese of Toronto an assurance that our rightful aspirations with regard to the Traditional Latin Mass, in accordance with the Roman Missal of 1962 will be respected.

2.    To seek permission for the public celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass not just on Sundays but on every day of the year.

3.    To promote the establishment of Traditional Latin Mass parishes within the Archdiocese of Toronto.

4.    To restore the use of all the Sacraments in their traditional form.

5.    To guard and foster the treasury of traditional music, including Gregorian Chant, which is to be given "pride of place" (Sacrosanctum Concilium, Vatican II, 4 Dec, 1963, Article 116).
